Started by Charmane Baker out of her home in 2003 and later moving to its current location on Howard Street, Vegetarian Desserts Bakery takes pride in creating edible masterpieces from scratch using quality ingredients, almost all of which are bought locally. Our products are truly vegetarian and guaranteed to be made without any dairy, animal products, honey, preservatives, or fillers. But that doesn’t mean we’ve sacrificed anything in the way of taste.

We are known for our tempting – some might say sinful – chocolate fudge cake. It is a rich balance of chocolate cake and soft fudge frosting.

Vegetarian Desserts Bakery products are never frozen. Our chocolate cake is shipped fresh to Baltimore City area grocery stores, hotels, restaurants, and even colleges.
